TMB Law is staffed by Timothy M Brown, a registered patent attorney with over 14 years of experience. Prior to establishing his practice, Timothy served as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office where he examined patent applications directed to hepatitis C and other flaviviruses.
Following his tenure as a Patent Examiner, Timothy served several years as in-house patent counsel for a number of San Diego biotech companies. In his in-house roles, he provided advice on intellectual property and licensing strategies, and prosecuted extensive patent and trademark portfolios related to cell biology and stem cell therapy. He also provided opinions on intellectual property clearance and guided diligence projects for mergers and acquisitions.
Timothy has experience prosecuting patent and trademark applications across a broad range of technologies, including medical and mechanical devices, cell biology, stem cell therapy, diagnostics, nutrition and chemistry.
